No Knead Bread
Instructions:
  1. Mix all ingredients together with a wooden spoon to create a shaggy dough. Cover and let rise 2+ hours until dough has doubled in size.
  2. Remove dough from the bowl onto a lightly floured surface. Scrape underneath with a flat spatula, or if you’re fancy, a dough scraper , and fold dough over onto itself to form a smooth ball. Place the ball into parchment paper and back into a bowl. Cover and let rise minimum 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat oven to 450°F and place Dutch oven with lid ON into the oven. Heat for 20-30 minutes.
  4. Place dough with parchment into the hot Dutch oven (be careful, nobody has time to go to the ER today for a 3rd degree burn), cover, and bake for 30 minutes. Remove lid and bake about 5 more minutes or until it’s golden brown.
  5. Remove from Dutch oven and place on a wire cooling rack.
  6. *test your yeast if you’re not sure it’s alive by starting with warm water, yeast, and sugar first. It should be bubbly and foamy after about 10 minutes. If not, sorry but your yeast is dead this step is not necessary but I recommend doing this so your entire project doesn’t get ruined.
  7. **these are optional seasonings. You can also use garlic powder & rosemary which is delicious. Other options: fold in chives, finely chopped garlic, or make it sweet by adding cinnamon, sugar, and raisins. Play around with it!
