Crispy Crab Nuggets
Instructions:
  1. Prepare the Crab Mixture: In a large bowl, combine the crab meat, egg, mayonnaise, parsley, Dijon mustard, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper. Gently fold the ingredients together until well mixed.
  2. Form the Nuggets: Use your hands or a spoon to form the crab mixture into small, bite-sized nuggets or patties.
  3. Prepare the Breading: In a shallow dish, mix together the almond flour, crushed pork rinds, garlic powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper if using.
  4. Coat the Nuggets: Dip each crab nugget into the breading mixture, pressing lightly to coat all sides. For extra crispiness, repeat the dipping process in egg and breading.
  5. Heat the Oil: In a large skillet, heat the cooking oil over medium-high heat until hot.
  6. Fry the Nuggets: Carefully place the coated crab nuggets in the hot oil, making sure not to overcrowd the skillet. Fry for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Drain and Serve: Remove the nuggets from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
